Ao Som do Berimbau is a text that fills an important gap in the aspect of the diffusion of Capoeira. The youth of this sport, as well as the disadvantage of the language in which it operates, make the profane not discover the sociocultural wealth that surrounds until he is really involved in it. And yet, once you are inside, it is very easy to lose yourself in your plasticity, in your rhythms and never get to know its deep roots, its meanings and the people who have struggled to maintain a cultural identity and tradition. This is a work with an impressive theoretical and historical content, accompanied by a deep description of the techniques and everything that surrounds it.
